Engine coolant can corrode various metals in the cooling system over long-term use, directly affecting engine life. The DFYF-173 Corrosion Tester is designed and manufactured in strict accordance with industry standard SH/T0085, suitable for determining the corrosion degree of engine coolants on a typical metal coupon bundle (including copper, aluminum, cast iron, steel, brass, solder, etc.). It is a core instrument for evaluating the anti-corrosion performance of coolants.

Air circuit: composed of an air pump and a gas flow meter, providing a stable flow rate of 100 ± 10 ml/min
Water circuit: a circulating pump ensures uniform medium flow
Heating bath: consists of a transparent glass bath, temperature controller, and stirrer

The test bath is made of transparent glass – aesthetically pleasing and allowing easy observation of metal coupon changes during the test, making operation more intuitive.
