The DFYF-303 is designed according to GB/T 4929 (equivalent to ASTM D566 – Dropping Point of Lubricating Grease). It measures the dropping point of a lubricating grease – the temperature at which the first drop of grease falls from a test cup under controlled heating conditions. This parameter is a key indicator of a grease’s high-temperature performance.
This instrument is widely used in grease manufacturing quality control, R&D laboratories, and industries such as automotive, machinery, and metallurgy where grease performance matters.

Typical Test Procedure (Brief)
Fill the dropping point cup with the grease sample and insert the thermometer.
Place the cup into the double-glass oil bath and start the stirrer.
Adjust the heating voltage to raise the temperature at the standard-specified rate.
Observe and record the temperature at which the first drop of grease falls from the cup – that is the dropping point.
