SH/T 0620 Compliant | Ambient to 150°C | Programmable 168h Timer | Auto Shutdown
Engine coolants must protect cast aluminum components from corrosion – especially in modern engines with higher operating temperatures. The DFYF-923 provides a standardized, reliable method to evaluate coolant corrosion severity on cast aluminum alloy specimens, helping you formulate and qualify long-life antifreeze products.

✅ What Makes the DFYF-923 Stand Out?
PID digital controller with PT100 sensor – Imported temperature controller delivers precise, stable heating up to 150°C (±0.1°C accuracy). The PT100 probe ensures high sensitivity and repeatability.
One-touch auto-start – Set the target temperature and desired test duration (up to 168h). When the bath reaches the set point, the timer automatically begins. No manual intervention – the system stops automatically at the end of the test.
Built-in timer with alarm – Audible alert when the long-term corrosion test (e.g., 168 hours) finishes. No need to watch the clock.
Insulated safety chamber – Double benefits: excellent heat retention (reduces energy waste) and prevents liquid from splashing out in case of boiling or bumping. Greatly improves operator safety.
Compact and user-friendly design – Small footprint, intuitive interface, and easy specimen loading. Ideal for both QC labs and R&D.
 How It Works
Prepare the cast aluminum alloy specimen according to SH/T 0620.
Fill the test cell with the engine coolant sample.
Set test temperature (e.g., 135°C for some specifications) and test duration (e.g., 168 hours).
Press “Start” – the DFYF-923 automatically heats to the set point, begins timing, runs the prescribed period, and shuts down with an alarm.
Remove the specimen, clean, and weigh – calculate corrosion loss or visually assess pitting and deposits.
The DFYF-923 takes the hassle out of long-duration corrosion tests, giving you accurate, comparable results.
 Who Should Use This Instrument?
Antifreeze and engine coolant manufacturers
Automotive OEM quality assurance labs
Third-party testing laboratories
Materials and corrosion research centers
 Why SH/T 0620 Matters
SH/T 0620 (similar to ASTM D1384 but focused on cast aluminum) simulates the long-term effect of coolants on cast aluminum engine components – cylinder heads, water pumps, thermostat housings. Passing this test is often required for coolant certification and OEM approvals.
Beyond Corrosion Testing – Redefining Viscosity Measurement
While the DFYF-923 ensures your coolants protect aluminum parts, our engineering team is also pushing boundaries in kinematic viscosity testing.
