Introduction of Fully Automatic Petroleum Product Pour Point Tester

The DFYF-144Z fully automatic petroleum product pour point tester is designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB/T 3535 “Petroleum Product Pour Point Determination Method”. It should be noted that GB/T 3535 has been updated to the 2025 version (GB/T 3535-2025, published on October 5, 2025, effective from May 1, 2026), which adopts ISO 3016:2019 (Natural or synthetic petroleum and related products — Determination of pour point) as the revised international standard.-1 The tester is suitable for measuring the pour point of petroleum and petroleum products. In addition to GB/T 3535, the instrument also complies with ASTM D97 (Standard Test Method for Pour Point of Petroleum Products) and the industry standard JB/T 11944-2025 (Automatic Pour Point Tester — Technical Specification and Test Evaluation Method — Automatic Pneumatic Method), ensuring full compatibility with both domestic and international testing requirements.-30

Detection Principle Overview

The sample is preheated and then cooled at a specified rate. Every 3°C, the fluidity of the sample is inspected. The lowest temperature at which the sample can still flow is recorded as the pour point.-52 The entire process is fully automated, significantly reducing human error and improving test reproducibility.
