Product Overview

Designed in strict accordance with NB/SH/T 0087-2021 (replacing SH/T 0087-1991), this tester determines the cavitation corrosion characteristics of engine coolants on automotive aluminum pumps. It is suitable for engine coolant and concentrate, using General Motors test pumps that meet ASTM standards.

The instrument simulates cavitation corrosion of aluminum water pumps under high-temperature conditions. By circulating the sample through a standard aluminum automotive water pump for 100 hours under specified conditions, it evaluates the coolant's protective performance. The pump is then inspected and rated according to a grading table. This tester helps prevent equipment damage caused by coolant corrosion, providing reliable quality assurance for manufacturers and end users.
