Coolant circulates at 88°C for 1064 hours through a closed system (reservoir, pump, radiator, replenishment tank). The test follows an intermittent pattern: 76 hours running, 8 hours off, repeated until 1064 hours. Corrosion resistance is measured by weight loss of standard metal test pieces and visual inspection of component surfaces.
