Product Overview

Designed to SH/T 0088-1991 (also referenced as NB/SH/T 0088), this tester evaluates engine coolant corrosion on metal specimens and cooling system components under simulated service conditions. Coolant circulates at 88°C for 1064 hours through a closed system (reservoir, pump, radiator, replenishment tank). The test follows an intermittent pattern: 76 hours running, 8 hours off, repeated until 1064 hours. Corrosion resistance is measured by weight loss of standard metal test pieces and visual inspection of component surfaces.
