Introduction of Lubricating Oil Tester
The lubricating oil tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T12579 and ASTM D892, "Standard Test Method for Foaming Characteristics of Lubricating Oils". This air release value tester is specifically used to determine the foam tendency and foam stability of lubricating oils under controlled laboratory conditions.
Advantages of a High-Quality Air Release Value Tester
The high-quality air release value tester integrates several key components: a high-temperature bath, a low-temperature bath, heating elements, temperature control systems, air supply units, and sample containers.
The temperature baths are regulated by a digital temperature controller, which provides precise temperature management and a clear, intuitive display, making operation straightforward (refer to the temperature controller manual for detailed steps). When the bath temperature falls below the preset value, the controller deactivates the heating device via a solid-state relay. Combined with the continuous action of a stirring mechanism, the system maintains a stable and uniform bath temperature.
The tester utilizes either an air pump or a nitrogen cylinder to deliver a regulated and quantified air flow through a flow meter, an air diffusion head, and finally into a measuring cylinder containing the sample. This setup allows for accurate measurement of the bubble volume generated within the sample.
