Working Principle & Software Features
The gasoline oxidation stability tester operates by accelerating the oxidation process of a gasoline sample in an oxygen bomb filled with pure oxygen at 100 °C. The instrument continuously monitors the pressure drop inside the bomb, which indicates the absorption of oxygen by the sample. The induction period is automatically determined as the time required for a specified pressure drop to occur. A dedicated testing software not only displays real‑time pressure curves but also allows automatic calculation of the induction period, data storage, historical data retrieval, and report generation. The user‑friendly interface supports multi‑bomb simultaneous testing (typically two bombs), improving testing efficiency. Additionally, the software includes alarm functions for overpressure or temperature deviation, ensuring safe and unattended operation.
